 About these Death Cafés

These Death Cafés are FREE and open to all. There’s no intention of leading participants towards any particular conclusion, product or course of action.

At Death Cafés people drink tea or coffee, munch on cookies and fruit while discussing death. Our aim is to increase awareness of death to help people make the most of their finite lives. This movement, to talk openly about Death continues to spread. Currently there are over 300 Death Cafés in more than a dozen countries. Participants consistently report the sessions have been uplifting events with far more laughter than tears, though often the group’s mood tends to be thoughtful and precious.
